We are all very excited at Xposure following the news last week that our James McIntosh was awarded Farmer's Weekly award for British Food Ambassador of the Year.

Lord Coe presented James with his award which he received for his pioneering work promoting British brands in China.

He had no idea he was going to win, but thought it was a bit odd when he was placed on the top table sitting between some extrememly prestigious people.

Well done James! A totally well deserved award!

There is great excitement at HOOP (UK) today as it has been announced that the extremely gorgeous Jessie Pavelka, presenter and trainer of the Sky 1 Series, Obese: A Year to Save my Life has offered to help out by donating a 2 hour training session to the highest bidder

HOOP (UK) Limited is a Not for Profit organisation which helps those struggling with issues of obesity. It was launched in July this year and is now working on raising the money needed to be able to apply for charitable status in the UK.

Lee Veasey, one of the HOOP Ambassadors, contributor of series 1 and also a client of Xposure, has been working with Jessie recently on the new series and was able to ask him if he would help out.

Jessie will be back in the UK in November when the session will take place. Meanwhile, HOOP will be organising the bidding through their website.

Finding the right way of getting your name out there onto the World Wide Web is a complicated thing these days. There are just so many ways of doing it.

Our World Food Traveller James McIntosh has got it right. By selecting a topical subject and taking the time to put in links and keywords, he has developed a 'recipe' for success that works.

Good blogging is no accident. It takes time, research and taking notice of the feedback (stats).  Hard work produces results as James is now enjoying. Recently he appeared in a Financial Times article. We asked the researcher how they got in touch with us. 'Through James' blog' came the answer!

See how James runs his blog here.

In France they would be Athos, Porthos and Aramis, but in China they are Chakall, Jimmy and yours truly.

In 2009 we co-presented a 20 part tv series for China Food TV called “Food Adventures on the Silk Road 2″. We travelled on a bus with 13 members of TV crew for 40 days and to be honest I struggled.
